Product Description
This shuttle PCB conveyor machine moves boards between SMT process machines and redirects them into different routes, steering each magazine or panel from left to right, right to left or straight ahead as the line layout requires. It is the standard answer when one production line has to feed two downstream machines, or when a new mounter is added and the existing conveyor runs no longer line up.
The machine is built on a semi-closed frame that keeps moving boards and drive parts behind protective panels while still giving operators quick access for adjustment and cleaning. Boards travel on precision-guided edge belts, so even thin panels down to 0.6mm thickness pass through without sagging, tilting or jamming at the transfer point. Width adjustment uses a screw-driven mechanism and can be done automatically, which removes the manual resetting that usually costs changeover time on multi-product lines.
Control is handled by a PLC with a colour touch screen interface. Operators enter the target position and transfer direction on screen instead of moving mechanical stops, so switching a line from L-R to R-L flow, or from pass-through to shuttle mode, takes a few taps. The drive runs on a single-phase 220V supply with a maximum load of 120VA, and the aluminium profile frame keeps the unit light enough to reposition with a pallet truck when the line is rearranged.
SMEMA communication is included as standard, so the conveyor talks directly to upstream and downstream equipment and starts or stops the transfer on a real handshake instead of manual push buttons. That handshake keeps boards from colliding when cycle times differ between machines, and lets the shuttle act as a buffer between a fast mounter and a slower reflow loader.
Length, width, working height around 900±20mm, board size range and transfer direction are all configured against your existing line drawing. Where floor space is tight, the shuttle can be supplied as a compact buffer section; where several machines need to be linked, multiple units can be arranged in series under one control scheme.
