Product Description

This modular ESD lean tube workbench is designed for electronics plants, lean assembly cells and static-sensitive production areas that need a workspace able to change shape as fast as their orders do. Every bench is assembled from standard coated lean tube and reinforced joint fittings, so separate units can be linked into one long continuous work surface, separated into individual cells or rebuilt into another layout without any cutting, welding or repainting.

The frame system uses plastic-coated lean tube with a high-tensile steel core inside. Assembly, height change and layout adjustment are all done with a hex key and a mallet, which means a two-person team can rebuild a production line over a weekend instead of waiting weeks for a welded bench to be fabricated. For factories running small batches, pilot runs or kaizen projects, that flexibility removes the usual bottleneck of fixed welded furniture.

Both the main worktop and the lower shelf carry static-dissipative panels with surface resistance held between 10⁶ and 10⁹ ohms, tested against the ANSI/ESD S20.20 control programme. The panel drains static charge built up while operators handle PCBA boards, IC trays, sensors, battery modules and other ESD-sensitive parts, reducing hidden electrostatic damage that only shows up later at functional test. Where static control is not required, the same frame accepts phenolic boards, solid PVC sheets or stainless steel tops.

Industrial caster sets are fitted as standard: swivel casters with foot brakes plus fixed support casters. With the brakes released the complete station rolls across the floor to move work-in-progress, relocate a production cell or shift a bench between assembly and inspection zones; once in position the brakes lock the frame solid so fastening, soldering and precision fitting work stays free of wobble.

The dual-tier layout keeps the active area clean. The upper level is the working platform for assembly, wiring, labelling and checking, while the lower shelf holds hand tools, jigs, spare parts and raw material. Splitting storage away from the worktop supports 5S housekeeping and saves the time operators would otherwise lose searching for tools and components.

Table length, width, working height and shelf clearance are all produced to your drawing, so the bench fits your operators rather than forcing them to adapt. Available add-ons include tool hanging rails, overhead light frames, parts bins, power outlet strips, side baffles and locating jigs. Lean tube colour, panel thickness and caster load rating can also be specified against your weight and ESD requirements.

Core Advantages
  1. Interlocking Modular Frame: Units join, split and expand freely, so a work cell can be re-laid out whenever the process changes.
  2. Built-in Static Dissipation: ESD worktop and shelf panels protect sensitive electronic components from discharge damage.
  3. Mobile Lockable Base: Brake casters let one operator reposition a full station and lock it rigid for precision work.
  4. Steel Core Lean Tube Build: High load capacity with simple hand-tool assembly and low modification cost.
  5. Dual-tier Storage Layout: Tools and material stay on the lower shelf, leaving the worktop clear for the job.
  6. Custom Ergonomics: Working height, size and accessories are made to order to cut operator fatigue.
  7. System Compatibility: Connects with lean flow racks, roller tracks and material trolleys to complete a lean production cell.
Typical Application Industries
3C electronics assembly and PCBA functional testing
Lithium battery module assembly and inspection
Semiconductor and precision sensor production
Hardware assembly, sorting and finished goods packing
E-commerce warehouse picking and packing stations
Light cleanroom and medical device assembly lines
Lean manufacturing kaizen work cells
Laboratory sample preparation and test benches
Maintenance Guidance
Check joint connectors and caster mounting bolts for tightness at regular intervals. Clean the ESD tabletop with a neutral static-safe cleaner and avoid sharp blades that scratch the conductive layer. Verify caster rotation and brake engagement before each shift. Each station ships with full assembly drawings and a 12-month warranty covering structural and moving parts.
