Product Description

Static Control at the Frame Level

Static damage on an electronics assembly line rarely comes from the belt alone. It comes from a charge that has nowhere to go. This ESD grounding belt conveyor therefore treats static control as a frame-level system: a continuous grounding chain runs the whole length of the line, every aluminium section carries an earth terminal, and the drive end is bonded to the same earth point, so the belt, the frame and the workstation sit at one potential.

The belt itself is a 2mm green anti-static PVC belt with surface resistance in the 10^6 to 10^9 ohm range, which bleeds charge away slowly enough to avoid a discharge spike. An ionizing bar can be mounted at the loading end, where boards are usually transferred by hand and carry the highest residual charge, so components reach the first station already neutralised.

Why the 4040 Frame Matters for Load

  • 60kg per linear meter distributed load, enough for stacked PCB magazines, sub-assembly fixtures and packed cartons moving between stations.
  • 4040 and 4080 extrusion options, selected by span length, so a 6m run keeps its straightness instead of sagging in the middle.
  • Anodized surface against workshop humidity and coolant mist, with bolt-on joints that can be re-tensioned on site.
  • Leveling feet on every leg, letting the working height be set between 750mm and 1100mm and matched to the neighbouring machines.
  • Bolt-on modularity means a station can be inserted or removed later without cutting the frame.

Layout, Speed and Station Fit

Lines are built to the workshop plan rather than to a catalogue length. Straight runs, 90 or 180 degree curves and inclines up to 15 degrees can be combined in one line, with the transfer points reinforced for the extra side load a curve introduces. Speed is set on a VFD panel from 0.1 to 8 m/min, and the control offers continuous running for transport sections and beat mode for paced assembly stations, so one line can serve several process rhythms.

Where This Line Is Used

PCB and PCBA assembly and inspection rooms, SMT line linking sections after reflow, power supply and control board workshops, battery pack assembly, small appliance final assembly, and any area where an ESD audit asks for documented grounding rather than "anti-static" as a label.

Engineering Support and Delivery

  • Send the workshop plan and station sequence, and a layout drawing with belt length, curve segments and working height comes back for confirmation.
  • Frame sections are numbered before packing, so a line is assembled and levelled in one to two days with remote commissioning support.
  • One set minimum order, OEM branding on the frame and control panel available.
  • 15-20 days production after deposit, 500 sets monthly capacity, export wooden case packing with belt and frame separated.
  • 12 month warranty on frame, geared motor and control; spare belts, tensioners and controllers kept in stock.

Notes

  • Grounding continuity should be re-checked with a resistance meter after every reconfiguration.
  • Keep the belt free of dust and solvent residue to hold the specified surface resistance.
  • Curve and incline sections need the layout drawing confirmed before production.
